A passion for travel
From a very young age I dreamt about traveling the world, growing up in a middle-class family I was fortunate enough to have family vacations at least once a year, mostly to beaches in Mexico. When I was a bit older, I realized how fortunate I had been both for having a family with the means $ and a mother who liked vacationing and was adamant we would have a nice family vacation at least once a year. So I am not sure if that’s why always liked traveling or if it is just my wondering personality, but I thank my mom either way.
When I was old enough and part of the work force I started traveling a little bit more, had the chance to cross the Atlantic for the first time and loved that first experience in the old world, made life lasting friends and increased my apetite for travel.
Blessed to get married to a wonderful soul that is my best friend a wonderful father and provider and HE LOVES TRAVELING TOO!!! Although we didn’t get to travel to exotic or far away places at first as soon as we got established and had a little more financial stability we started traveling and making plans for future travels, unfortunately that was in 2019 so we made it to the old world once with the kids, had everything planned for a second trip to different countries for the summer of 2020 that were cancelled of course due to the pandemic.
As soon as we could we easing up into traveling again, we went to Mustang Island with some friends In August 2020, Cancun and Playa del Carmen for a couple of weeks end of November 2020, basically only to places in Mexico and USA until we very spontaneously planned my son’s XV birthday trip, he had always said he wanted to go to Japan, sadly restriction to Japan were still in place, so one evening while we were having dinner in a restaurant in Boston, delicious by the way, i opened an email from Royal Caribbean, I get them all the time and usually just trash them without opening them, but that day I read it and clicked on a link which led me to find a 10 day Eastern Caribbean Cruise departing from Miami which worked out perfectly because it was mostly during Thanksgiving week and we would spend his birthday on the cruise, I told them about it and they were immediately all onboard with the idea, most importantly my son was!! So it is fair to say we really didn’t stop traveling.
