How it started..
It all started Labor Day weekend of 2018 when I saw a not very old man walk by me, he was having trouble standing straight and moving his legs and I thought “That will be me in a couple years if I don’t start exercising”, so right there and then I grabbed my laptop and signed up to a gym I had been a member of before, then looked at what classes they were offering the next day and saw a yoga one that worked with my schedule and thought that would be an easy way to start working out, and boy was I wrong, I felt so lost, I couldn’t get to the poses etc, but at the end of that class a wonderful soul who must’ve realized how much o was struggling came up to me and said “just keep coming, it gets easier” and for some reason o listened and went back the next day and the next and the next and fell in love with yoga, so much so that I signed up for yoga teacher training and started it on March 2019.

Goals..
My Yoga goals have changed a few times since I started practicing. I have gone from really wanting to look a certain way in a pose, to getting more flexible, to getting stronger, to being an excellent yoga instructor. Currently my only goal is for yoga to keep me grounded and give me some peace, which is what it has always done for me.
